I was poisoned in the mentor but organizers asked me to keep quiet – Andy

The 1st runner-up of the maiden edition of TV3 music reality show Mentor, Andy Odarky has made some wild allegation during his stay in the reality show.

In a conversation with actress cum presenter Emelia Brobbey on the Okukuseku show, Andy alleged that he almost lost his life after being poisoned in the Mentor house.

According to Andy, he was made aware after being admitted to the hospital.

“I’ve been poisoned 3 times. I was poisoned during the Mentor times.  I was made aware after diagnosis at the hospital.  Mentor’s experience was not about regular food poisoning. It was actually a substance someone had put either into my food or water in an attempt to kill me.”

“I was admitted for 3 days at Holy Trinity Hospital (who were sponsors of the show) and that’s where someone hinted me of the reason I had been admitted. The individual, however, asked that I do not talk about it since that would have been the end of the  show so I also had to keep mute on it,” he said.

According to Andy, he eventually became cautious of activities in the house and started to prepare his own meals.

Apply wisdom in your prophecies – Celestine Donkor advices Cecelia Marfo

Celestine Donkor

Gospel songstress, Celestine Donkor has advised senior colleague musician cum prophetess, Cecilia Marfo to apply wisdom in relaying her prophecies.

Cecilia Marfo has divided opinion backlash for grabbing a microphone from colleague musician, Joyce Blessing at a programme in Kumasi on Friday night and telling her, in a prophetic mode, to go back to her husband.

Speaking to MzGee in an interview, Celestine Donkor said she had respect for the anointing on Cecilia’s head and is a believer in her ministry but is it high time she applied wisdom in the way she relays prophecies.

“…we are not proud to be talking about these things but to be honest, I have experienced Cecilia Marfo’s ministry and I know she carries some grace from God and some anointing.”

“I don’t doubt who she is as I’ve personally encountered some testimonies with her ministry. The only thing I would advise is that she should really apply wisdom when it comes to giving some strong prophetic words to people who come to the church.”

Celestine opines such prophetic messages should be conveyed in private as not everyone has the mental strength to handle such humiliation.

“I advise such prophetic words should be communicated in private and with prayers because anyone going through divorce really need prayer support and love. I feel the embarrassment and the pain as a woman [for a fellow woman].” She continued.

U.S President, Joe Biden lifts entry ban on Nigeria

Joe Biden official portrait 2013 4 768x960 1

Following his official inauguration, the President of the United States, Joe Biden has signed 15 executive orders and 2 directives reversing some of former President Donald Trump’s policies on climate change and immigration.

The first three orders were signed on camera from Biden’s oval office. The first order the President signed relates to COVID-19 and mandates that masks be worn and social distancing be kept on federal property and interstate commerce etc.

The second order was signed in support of underserved communities, to ensure some bedrock equity and equality as relates to how people are treated. Thirdly, Biden rejoined the World Health Organization and the Paris Agreement on climate change, a pact the United States formally halted in November after Trump’s exit in 2017.

One of the executive orders and presidential actions the president signed on Wednesday was the order to cancel the travel ban on countries including Nigeria, Eritrea, Yemen, Sudan and others. The travel ban which Biden referred to as “discriminatory and an affront to the country’s values” was signed by Donald Trump in his first week in office.

The ban initially barred the issuance of immigrant and nonimmigrant visas to applicants from Libya, Iran, Somalia, Syria, Yemen, North Korea and Venezuela. In 2020, Trump’s administration added six countries by halting overseas visas for citizens of Nigeria, Eritrea, Kyrgyzstan and Myanmar and appending restrictions on Sudanese and Tanzanian nationals. These bans have now been lifted by the Biden-Harris administration.

The president also conferred a bill to Congress to restore the country’s immigration system. The legislation strives to implement an “8-year pathway to US citizenship for undocumented people, address the causes of migration and speed up the reunification of families after children were separated from parents at the US border with Mexico,” Tribune reports.

National security adviser Jake Sullivan referred to the ban as “nothing less than a stain on our nation,” stating that it was “rooted in xenophobia and religious animus and President-elect Biden has been clear that we will not turn our back on our values with discriminatory bans on entry to the United States.”

Furthermore, Biden has stopped the building of Trump’s signature wall on the U.S.-Mexican border by announcing the “immediate termination” of the national emergency declaration Trump dedicated to funding it. He also increased the suspension on student loan payments and national restrictions on evictions and foreclosures.

According to USA Today, experts say Biden’s speed serves to show importance to “turn the page on a divisive four years under the Trump administration”. Most of the steps cracked what the Biden team refers to as “four overlapping and compounding crises” – the COVID-19 pandemic, the resulting economic damage, climate change and lagging racial equity.

Todd Belt, professor and political management program director at George Washington University described Biden’s actions as “trying to show the American people, and the world more generally, that America is back to where it was before the Trump administration,” and a “repudiation of Trump’s approach to governance.”

“There’s no time to waste,” Biden stated before signing the order, assuring that “these are just all starting points” as many more will occur over the next 10 days.

Pastor Murders His Daughter And Buries Her In The Cemetery

In Ghana here, some people have been hiding under the disguise of being pastors and are brutally committing atrocities of the highest degrees. Just yesterday, Friday, January 15, 2021, a self-acclaimed pastor known as Pastor Emma connived with a 22-year-old girl identified as Esther’s mum and accused the poor girl of being a witch in Assin Dawomako.

They went as far as stripping her naked all in the name of disgracing the demon inside to cast it out and the pastor together with his council of elders led the procession of the young lady through the entire town as they gathered people to hoot at her.

This baseless devilish act caused the young lady to take her life and this made the police force begin a dog chase to hunt down the pastor but during the hours of late afternoon, news broke out that the self-proclaimed pastor had also committed suicide before the arrival of the police at his residence.

As if that was not enough, in the late hours of yesterday, on Nhyira FM evening news, another self-styled man of God who is known to be a preacher with Heavens Kingdom Palace Ministry sited in Accra, by name Gideon Boakye was arrested in the Bono East region of Ghana by the Nkoranzah police after allegedly killing his 9-year-old daughter with his reason being that the child was a witch.

Speaking with Pure FM’s Osei Kwadwo, the uncle of the deceased child who is called Queenster Boakye ascertained that after the conception of the child, madame Ama as she was affectionately called by her peers and loved ones, the child had been staying with her mum until the first lifting of the lockdown ban where her dad, the presumed pastor, came for her to stay with him for some time.

In mid-November 2020, the pastor called his wife and alleged that their daughter had confessed to being a witch and that she was initiated into witchcraft by her mum. This sparked some intense arguments between the couple and Mr. Boakye blocked all forms of Communications between his daughter and her maternal family until December 25, 2020, where the man returned home for the Christmas celebration without the child and when he was questioned on the whereabouts of the child, he claimed the child had gone missing and was nowhere to be found.

After observing how unconcerned he looked whilst breaking the reportage to the family, the uncle who suspected something wasn’t right reasoned with their father and reported the case to the Nkoranzah police.
