Working with an international company like Delta Airlines can only be a dream for many; and a joy to thousands until life and it’s adversity stretches you to find solace in an industry such as the beauty and cosmetic industry in Ghana. That’s basically Eric Amankwah also known as Kweku Rozay or xoxorozay’s story.
Eric Kweku Amankwah
In an industry such as the beauty and cosmetic industry which is vastly dominated by women, it is very difficult and rear to see a man raise his head up and make remarkable strides, especially because of the competitiveness of the industry and stereotype.  But to talk same about Kweku Rozay and the Rozay International brand, even though his beginning wasn’t a walk in a park and as easy as it looks, he is poised to cementing his name in the good books of the industry players.

Eric Amankwah widely known by his brand name Kweku Rozay or xoxorozay Is an award-winning Ghanaian born American distributor and entrepreneur from a Ghanaian descent. Eric is a graduate of Stonehill College in America and holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing with a minor in Communication.

According to him, having distributed Rihanna’s scarce special collaboration with Mac Cosmetics in 2013 which saw more demand than supply of product made him realize the opportunity that lies ahead in the Makeup and beauty industry in Africa and most likely, predominantly in Ghana and other African countries.

He explains that the need and crave for quality US makeup products in Ghana and Africa at the time was very huge hence his decision to veer into the growing industry even though in entirety, that wasn’t it.
Explaining why he opted for Human hair lashes instead of the usual, he stated that, after coming to the realization that there’s a ready market for the luxurious Mink Lashes, he wanted to do something apart from the usual for the everyday woman who can fix quickly and wear her lashes on the go without any hassle or wrangling.

He mentioned that seeing a high-quality brand like Michael Kors gives him the inspiration to emulate and also churn out high quality and branded products yet at an affordable price to suit the everyday people.
Rozay International limited which is a lifestyle and cosmetic brand currently have quality human hair lashes, beauty blenders and holder which is also known as the Bossu Blender on the market which helps in achieving a flawless and the desired eyeliner shape one needs to compliment their looks.
The well-acclaimed brand has added to its fleet of quality products the Rozay Minktress,
the Rozay Truth Lash Glue, Rozay Bossu Blender 2 as well as the Rozay Tweezer and
Rozay Lash Holder respectively.
The lashes come in 7 different styles with Four (4) new additions making it a total of (11) unique lash style products on the market.

The recently awarded 40 under 40 beauty and lifestyle winner is also the recipient of the 2019 Presidential Business Support award, 2018 Retailer of the Year Award by Makeup Ghana and 2015 Tedx Most Promising Innovation Award. He hopes to soon

introduce their Makeup Chair, and the Eyebrow pencils onto the market to help make it easier for users and customers as they aim to become a one-stop-shop for all beauty and cosmetic products.
But talking about fear and challenges, he indicated that the fear of not being able to sale through the market especially as a starter is his biggest fear looking at the amount of money invested into the business, and for him, getting the feedback from people is key in running the business.

In less than a decade in the industry, he describes the process as challenging and very grueling with lots of mistakes, but was quick to add that its been great so far and hopes to reach higher and wider with the Rozay brand.

For him, Rozay International Limited which is a hundred percent Ghanaian brand is an epitome of love, quality and satisfaction, and a blue moon to the others. According to him, anytime one thinks of Rozay, he or she must note that quality is not an accident but rather the result of intelligent effort as John Ruskin said, and that is what he stands for!

I blocked you on my verified page for similar comment, today you're back here with more. I won't let this slide. For these ignorant words of insults that came out of your mouth to me, seeking to cause me pain and unhappiness for absolutely nothing I've done to you or your family… I say to you this wednesday noon of October 14th, 2020 that You will not live to prosper and be happy. You will have a lifetime of bad luck and depression. Everything you touch, say or do will bring unexplainable misery to you. Your generation will pass on the curse of infertility, unhappiness, madness and misery I call upon you this day. May your business go from bad to worse. May every pain I've ever felt in my life be transfered to you and may every good plan the Lord had for you be transfered to every woman waiting on the Lord for children. You will beg to die and even death will forsake you. My Lord did not create me barren or any woman and so may HE make an example of you to show HIS greatness. I DARE THE LORD TO HEAR MY CRY… Galatians 6:7-9, “ Don’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant. Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit. "Hear my prayer, Yahweh, and give ear to my cry. Don't be silent at my tears. For I am a stranger with you, a foreigner, as all my fathers were. Amen.

Rapper Aziz Havoc Speak On The Hardship On Ordinary Ghanaians In latest song

High-quality roads and bridges are critically important for Ghana’s future. But today, they are severely under-funded.

Traffic congestion increases each year. More and more roads suffer from potholes and rutted pavement.

Many of Our bridges are showing their age with structural deficiencies. And in truth, the vast majority of highway revenues are spent on highway maintenance rather than expanding capacity. The question is: Don’t we have Government?

Ghanaian Award Winning Rapper and singer, Aziz Havoc who is a force to be reckoned within the side of hip/hop, Afrobeat, Afropop stands as the voice of the struggling masses as he spits out the hardships the ordinary Ghanaians are going through on the street and town faces.

Speaking about how the government has paid a death ear to some cries from where he is coming from and other towns in Ghana in his new released song titled, “Economy” he spoke about bad roads ,corruption and others.
Bad roads are a problem many of us are used to deal with, bad roads create gaping potholes.

Day after day, we suffer nightmarish commutes while waiting for local government to help solve the issue. He also spoke about corruption in the song.

Corruption exists in all branches of the Ghanaian government, and there is often a lack of accountability.

Since independence in 1957 every government, from Kwame Nkrumah to Akuffo Addo has been accused of being corrupt. I believe there is some level of corruption in every man, some are able to tame it others don’t really care.

This dude is really talented and Ghanaians need to pay attention to the songs he always talks about positive messages that can bring change in Ghana and everyday life.

Listen: Mawcom X teams up with Kuvie on ‘Gift Of God’ album

Published

on

Mawcom X

True to his name, Ghanaian born, widely travelled and successful creative; Mawcom X pushes through one of the toughest periods in his adult life so far with the passing of his mum to arrive at this very moment. With the help of producer and friend Kuvie, he channels all his emotions into what has now become ”Gift of God”. The name is a triple entendre which implies that firstly; to be alive is a ”Gift of God”, secondly, our ability to create is a ”Gift of God” and finally Mawuli literally translates into ”God exists” so my existence is a ”Gift of God” to the world.

Kuvie Pic

The five tracked EP all produced by the superstar producer, Kuvie (Sarkodie, Pappy Kojo, Joey B, Efya and more) consists of a smooth range of songs that ease you in from Highlife infused Hip-Hop beats, hard-hitting rap bars, classic Afrobeat and groovy melodies that give props to the recent Ghaianan sounds that have made their way across very many borders, spreading the palm wine music gospel.

Easing you into the listening journey, Mawcom X teams up with $pacely and Iye on ‘Talk Talk’ for the first track, clean, purposeful and setting the tone that despite what people might say, he’s got his eye on the ball. For the 2nd track, Mawcom X is in a prayerful mode as he turns his gaze upwards to ‘Jah’ for guidance and direction. The track sits on a mellow Hip-Hop beat infused with coastal palm wine beats. Named after him, ‘Mawuli’ encapsulates the state he was in as he pushed through the pain to birth something beautiful from the hand he had been dealt.

Following ‘Jah’ is ‘More’ featuring Kirani AYAT. ‘More’ respectively is a cool Hip-Hop joint that keeps the level of groove and message of the tape so far, then comes ‘Pure’ which sees Kuvie introduce a welcome Reggae vibe to the production and La Même Gang’s $pacely jumps on the record with Mawcom X and their message? Positive vibes only. For the final track on this collection, Mawcom X enlists Nigerian born vocal genius, Boj on a more laid back Afrobeat vibe on ‘Body’.
